At Page Point Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, being a trusted Triangle veterinarian and pet resort means more than caring for the pets who walk through our doors. Our mission extends into the community—and even beyond our borders—where we’ve been honored to work alongside rescue groups, local law enforcement, and families who share our passion for giving animals the best life possible.

From the very beginning, service has been at the heart of Dr. Simpson’s story. At just 13 years old, she began traveling to Honduras on medical and dental mission trips, returning every summer until she was seventeen. In 2003, she found another calling as a counselor at Camp Kemo, a camp for children with cancer and their siblings. She poured her heart into that role each year until Page Point opened in 2019. And in 2009, the summer before her third year of veterinary school, she combined her love of service and animals by joining a veterinary mission in Honduras, where she learned spay and neuter techniques from her mentors. Years later, when Hurricane Florence displaced families in 2018, Dr. Simpson stepped in once again—providing veterinary care for the pets caught in crisis alongside their owners.

That same dedication to community and compassion is what drives Page Point today. Over the years, we’ve built strong relationships with organizations like the Durham Police Department, Chihuahua Rescue & Transport, and the Neuse River Golden Retriever Rescue. These partnerships have enabled us to step in when animals require urgent care, routine check-ups, or simply a safe place to rest. We’re grateful to support rescue groups that devote so much to saving lives, often with minimal resources.

Most recently, we’ve partnered with Peak Lab Rescue, an incredible organization helping thousands of Labrador Retrievers and Lab mixes find loving homes. Together, we’ve been able to provide trusted veterinary support for dogs in transition—and even welcomed 11 adorable lab puppies into the world during an emergency C-section. These are the moments that remind us why rescue partnerships matter and why we’re committed to being part of their lifesaving work.

As an animal hospital and pet resort serving the Triangle, our commitment is simple: to keep extending our circle of care. Whether through local rescues, working with first responders, mission-driven service abroad, or caring for each patient and client that comes through our doors, we’re here to build healthier pets, stronger communities, and peace of mind for the people who love them.

At Page Point Animal Hospital & Pet Resort, we’re proud of the lives we’ve touched and the partnerships we’ve built—but we know there is always more to do. Together with our rescue partners, local police, and our amazing clients, we’ll continue to make a lasting difference for pets in our community and beyond.
