What does this mean for you? We know that taking a pet to the clinic is not always possible each time something comes up, so we want to offer a system that will provide more flexibility in the way we deliver care. Please remember to call in case of emergency.
Page Point Animal Hospital is now offering TeleHealth consultations! This means you can now connect with our doctors and the patient advocates you know and trust, from the comfort of your home through your smart phone!
What does this mean for you? We know that taking a pet to the clinic is not always possible each time something comes up, so we want to offer a system that will provide more flexibility in the way we deliver care. Please remember to call in case of emergency.
- Not all ailments are good fits for TeleHealth. We will be up-front with you and conservative to ensure the safety of your pet.
- TeleHealth is meant to supplement and not replace your pets office visits.
- We only offer telehealth services to patients with whom we have an active, existing relationship.
- Coverage is limited to working hours.
- We have included examples of conditions which are often fits for digital care, but please remember that this list does not guarantee your pet will not have to come into the hospital for additional tests/an in-person exam.
- Allergies (Coughing, Sneezing, Runny/Red eyes)
- Behavioral Consults
- Dermatology (Itching, odor, hair loss)
- Diabetic Care and Management
- External parasites (fleas, ticks, mites, etc.)
- Gastrointestinal upsets (chronic diarrhea/soft stool, vomiting)
- Hospice care
- Incontinence or Inappropriate Urination
- Lameness (limping) evaluations
- Limited mobility patients and clients
- Management of chronic conditions (Addison’s, Cushing’s, Diabetes, Seizures, Thyroid, etc)
- Medication re-orders
- Nutritional counseling
- Puppy Advice- potty training, behavior, teething, socialization, etc.
- Progress exam
- Post-surgical/oral surgery follow up
- Triage
- Weight management
